Who we are
Founded in 2011, FabLab Budapest is part of an international open innovation network with more than 1,750 members, presented in more than 100 countries. FabLab Budapest is more than a simple design and manufacturing workshop. The network aims to democratize access to digital manufacturing technologies and related knowledge. The technologies we use were previously only available for the industry, so we place great emphasis on nurturing talent, sharing our expertise with infrastructure. The users of the Lab form an inspiring community. Many successful design and technology projects started with a simple conversation.
The Computer Technology Institute and Press “Diophantus” is a research and technology organization focusing on research and development in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Particular emphasis is placed on education, by developing and deploying conventional and digital media in education and lifelong learning; publishing printed and electronic educational materials; administrating and managing the Greek School Network; and supporting the organization and operation of the electronic infrastructure of the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and all educational units. Since its establishment in 1985, and in the past decades of rapid technological development, CTI has actively contributed to many of the advances that today are taken for granted.
“Looking beyond” is the motto of our Assocation, established in early 2011 from the passion of a group of professionals with diverse and complementary skills and interests. 2050 operates to reflect, discover and positively influence the changes that are transforming our society, fostering individual and collective talents to tackle with optimism the challenges of our times. 2050 stands as an open and critical interlocutor of public and private organizations, and works on 4 main areas: EDUCATION AND INCLUSION – working with young people, schools, educators and communities
HARNESSING ICT – offering opportunities for growth and skills development through training and production of ICT-based communication tools and products; SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLES – focusing on environmental and economic sustainability, care for food, the body and others, occupations and passions that rethink, regenerate and reuse the scarce resources of the earth; DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT of social innovation initiatives at local and international level.
InterMediaKT (Interactive Media Knowledge Transfer) is an NGO based in Patras, Greece, working since 2012 fostering Knowledge Transfer through education, training and innovation at European level. Through technology tools, collaborations and exchange of good practices, we try to achieve our main aim of Knowledge Transfer. InterMediaKT focuses on two areas; development of digital tools to foster Knowledge Transfer and training and empowerment of different target groups (children, young people, people 65+, organizations and their employees). Over the years, InterMediaKT has proudly participated and implemented 35 international projetcs and dozens of volunteering activities, while it has reached over 25.000 direct beneficiaries.
Women in Digital Initiatives Luxembourg Asbl is a non-profit organisation founded in Luxembourg in 2014, currently acting as WIDE (Women in Digital Empowerment).
WIDE’s vision is to empower women with and thanks to digital and to increase the number of women seizing their opportunities in the digital economy and society.
WIDE’s mission is to offer practical support and activities to include more women and men in the field of digital as well as contributing to building a more diverse workforce and a wider ICT talent pipeline for Luxembourg.”
The Nanoschool’s project (Nano-Ecole Lille) was launched in 2010 in a national Nano-INNOV plan. The main objective is a national educative experimentation for a citizen education of sciences based on Nanotechnologies.The main idea relies on an interdisciplinary educative project associating various disciplines (Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics/Technology/Engineering/Human and Social Science ) and extremely linked to a dedicated work at school on social and ethical issues.The main objective of this educationnal project is not to recruit future researchers in this field but rather to participate in a kind of scientific litteracy aiming at giving to future citizen abilities for debating and expressing societal choices on advanced and invasive new technologies.
Nanoschool Lille, managed by IEMN(Institut of Electronic, Micrelectronic and Nanotechnology), has developed many collaborations with various partners for disseminating our educative activities (CNRS,Universities, Education ministery, Educators, schools,…).Created in 1939, The French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) is among the world’s leading research institutions. Its scientists explore the living world, matter, the Universe, and the functioning of human societies in order to meet the major challenges of today and tomorrow. Internationally recognised for the excellence of its scientific research, the CNRS is a reference in the world of research and development, as well as for the general public.
FabCube is part of FabLab network and carries out various types of training activities. We provide unemployed young people with support in acquisition of the skills useful in the labor market, focusing not only on tech subjects, but on also providing courses of business administration, soft skills, foreign languages, etc. We also offer a continuous training for employed people, providing them with valid tools to support innovation processes within companies and public bodies, as well as become familiar with new technologies. We keep on experimenting with new approaches to training, which include a wide use of experimental modality and new technologies.
Located in Lille South District, College Paul Verlaine is a secondary school with about 370 students, from 11 to 15 years old in priority education and integrated in an educational city with 2 other colleges. It has an Adapted General and Vocational Education Section (SEGPA), a system for welcoming allophone students (UPE2A), inclusive classes for deaf children.
College Paul Verlaine has a mathematics laboratory since November 2019, labeled by the Ministry of National Education. It organizes activities as part of the 2020 mathematics week as well as training for teachers in schools in his sector, and is run by mathematics teachers.
The school offers a course of excellence with the aim of promoting orientation towards scientific fields and improving the skills and general culture of the students. Its activities are based on the study of the development of artificial intelligence. College Paul Verlaine is recognized as a center of scientific excellence for the Educational City. In this context, it has to set up actions for the South sector of LILLE to contribute to the following objectives: guarantee the academic success of each child, promote access to ambitious educational paths to fight against discrimination and develop openness to the world.
Inercia Digital is a vocational training centre founded in 2010 and specialised in training and innovation in digital skills and entrepreneurship at an international level. It was appointed member of the “Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition” of the European Commission in 2017, has received the Young Innovative Company Certificate by AENOR in 2015 and has been awarded as an innovative company by the Diputación de Huelva in 2023.
Its mission is to internationally promote training and innovation in digital skills and entrepreneurship in education, for workers and for all citizens in general. And its vision is to be a Vocational Training Centre of Excellence at international level through continuous improvement of training and innovation in digital skills and entrepreneurship.
Inercia Digital is an expert in the development of international educational projects to boost innovation and promote digital skills, having participated in numerous European educational projects that promote digital innovation (Erasmus+ Programme, Lifelong Learning Programme, Tempus and CYTED) and which give it extensive experience in the creation of educational platforms, websites and pedagogical and didactic content.
