The training course “Sense of the G4E methodology” of the European Geeks For Education project was a success.
During the first week of November, the first training course of the European Geeks For Education project took place in Portogruaro and Vittorio Veneto (Italy), which aims to improve inclusive education to develop digital skills and STEM through more cooperation. close between schools, innovators and non-formal education providers.
This course was attended by professionals from 7 different countries of the European Union, such as France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Hungary and Luxembourg. This consortium is made up of schools of different educational levels such as College Verlaine, Diophantus, AKG and more than a dozen cooperative schools. They also include research technology centers such as Centrale Lille, CNRS-IEMN and technical education centers such as FabCube, Fablab Budapest, InterMediaKT and Inercia Digital.
During the course days, multiple exercises and dynamics of different STEAM subjects have been carried out, such as robotics, mathematics … In general, the objective of the course has been fulfilled, which was to share the G4E methodology of connected and transforming learning for geeks (IO2) and provide inputs for local implementation of activities (IO3) and familiarize teachers, educators and trainers with the practical aspects of the experience.
